Our Story

Built out of love.
Born from struggle.

The EZ-P™ wasn't invented in a lab. It was invented in the quiet frustration of watching someone you love fight for something as simple as going to the bathroom — and deciding enough was enough.

"

Before EZ-P, I battled dehydration, infections, and back pain from waiting on caregivers. After EZ-P, I can drink freely, stay healthy, and go on my own. It gave me back my independence.

A problem no one had solved

Crystal — wheelchair user, wife, and the reason this exists — endured daily pain, chronic infections, and dehydration just to manage something the rest of the world takes for granted. Every existing option had failed her. So her husband Wes set out to change that, filing the original provisional patent in January 2021.

The EZ-P™ becomes real for Crystal

After years of iteration and refinement, the EZ-P™ Bladder Management System worked. Crystal could drink freely, stay healthy, and manage independently for the first time. What started as a personal mission had become a functioning medical device — and a proof of possibility.

Patent granted — a category is born

On June 18, 2024, US Patent No. 12,011,402 B2 was granted — the first patented wheelchair cushion with an integrated anatomical drainage system for women. No power. No catheter. No briefs. Just freedom. Clarion Care also completed FDA Class I Medical Device registration.

Clarion Care launches

We launched Clarion Care to carry this solution beyond our home and into the lives of millions of women and caregivers who deserve the same freedom. Our Founding User Program delivered a 100% completion rate, zero adverse events, and 5 out of 5 satisfaction from every participant.

Why we built this

There are millions of women in wheelchairs worldwide. Something as fundamental as urinating should not be able to rob them of dignity, freedom, or joy. We refused to accept that it had to be this way — so we built something better.

Who we serve

Women wheelchair users and their caregivers. We design for those who have been overlooked — not as an afterthought, but as our entire reason for existing. Every product decision starts and ends with their lived experience.

Our promise

FDA-Registered. Patented. Pilot-validated. We hold our device to the highest standards — because Crystal uses it, and so will someone's daughter, mother, or patient. There is no cutting corners on that responsibility.

Where we're going

The 50-unit pilot is just the beginning. We are building toward VA procurement, DME distribution, HCPCS insurance reimbursement, and global availability — starting with the US and Australia. The mission doesn't end until every woman who needs this has it.
